Press Release: NH Mushers Work to Secure Snowmobile Trail Privileges

May 2003 - In the State of New Hampshire, mushers are learning what the rest of the country seems to know.
We need snowmobilers more than they need us and working with them is necessary if we wish to continue using their trails.
Therefore, on Thursday May 8th 2003, with the support of the NH Statewide Trails Advisory Board, the NH Mushers Association (NHMA) was established. NHMA is a non-profit organization with a primary mission of uniting all mushers running dog(s) in the state of New Hampshire for the purpose of maintaining and promoting statewide trail access privileges.
Regardless of your discipline (recreational, skijoring, sprint, etc) or State in which you live, if you use the trails in New Hampshire for training your sled dogs, please help us in creating a much needed membership base. We need to get information to everyone; our trail access depends on it.
Applications can be found by going on-line to: http://www.nhmushersassoc.org or Emailing [email protected]
