Dog Training Vehicle Sticker Program Process

 This process outlines the steps to be taken to issue NHMA Dog Training Vehicle (DTV) stickers.
  1. NHMA member applicants will send a signed application to NHMA.
  2. Non-members will send a signed application along with a $10 donation
  3. Applications are to be mailed along with a self-address stamped BUSINESS-SIZED envelope to:
      NHMA
      53 Wadleigh Point Road
      Kingston, NH 03848
  4. NHMA will enter applicant's information into a database/file.
  5. NHMA will issue the DTV sticker to the applicant with the serial number of the sticker being added to our database/file.
  6. The sticker will be mailed to the applicant with:
    • A rules sheet which includes sticker installation instruction;
    • NHMA Trail Safety guidelines;
    • NHMA Trail Etiquette guidelines;
    • Non-Members will receive a NHMA membership card.

  7. The program runs from October 1st through March 15th each year.
  8. Applicants are requested to file incident reports with NHMA should they have an issue with another trail user.
  9. Applicants must apply each year for new stickers.
  10. There is no fee for NHMA Members

Sticker Program Rules:
  1. This sticker is valid only on trails listed on the NHMA website: http://www.nhmushersassoc.org
  2. A dog team must be attached to the Dog Training Vehicle (DTV) for this sticker to be valid.
  3. The stickers are valid from October 1st to March 15th of each year. They are issued annually.
  4. The applicant's DTV must be lawfully registered with the state for the current year.
  5. The applicant must abide by the NHMA Trail Safety and Trail Etiquette guidelines.
  6. Should the applicant have an incident with another trail user, he/she is requested to fill out a NHMA incident report.
  7. The sticker should be affixed to the left front fender on the DTV next to the state registration sticker.
